A little about me.

Hi, I'm Ashley Baumgard, the creative behind Baumgard Design & Photo.

I'm a multidisciplinary designer and photographer with a passion for bringing ideas to life through thoughtful visuals and meaningful storytelling. My work spans brand identity, editorial design, digital experiences, and photography, allowing me to explore creativity in all its forms.

With a background in communications from the University of Miami and over nine years of experience behind the camera, I've developed an appreciation for both the creative and strategic sides of design. I love the process of taking an idea, finding what makes it unique, and translating it into something that feels intentional, engaging, and distinctly its own.

Professionally, I work in creative production and account management, collaborating with clients and designers to bring digital and print publications to life. Outside of that, I continue to build my own creative practice, working on everything from visual identities and editorial projects to portraits, events, and lifestyle photography.

I don't believe creativity needs to fit into one category. Some projects call for a camera, others for a carefully considered design, and many benefit from a little of both.

At the heart of everything I create is a simple goal: to make work that feels as good as it looks.
